I talked a bit of soffit venting. People are asking how do I tell if there working? Well the easiest way to tell is to go into your attic and take a look around the edges. If you do not see any light from that area, you are a victim of poor ventilation. If you can see a little light you had better work on opening up the spaces between between the rafters/trusses. Use Moore vents between the underside of the roof decking and the insulation, to allow air flow. The temperature in the attic space is a good indicator if your venting is working, on a sunny day it should be warmer than the outside temperature but not as hot as an oven.
