Well it seems the folks at Peta have drawn a bead on the Canadian Maple Syrup Industry.
Apparently hurting the Maple Syrup Producers of Canada will stop the Seal Hunt. According to the PETA website, it says you can help baby seals by not buying Canadian Maple Syrup. Do they think we feed maple syrup to diabetic baby seals? Or do they think seals come inland to eat maple trees or suckle on the sap in the spring? Rather than listening to the mutterings of deluded minds, we should pity their confused delusions and council them to seek professional help.
News flash people, killing baby seals is not permitted. As proof, Randy Jenkins, Director, Enforcement, Fisheries and Oceans Canada-- “The hunting of harp seal pups known as white coats, or blue backs (the hooded seal pups), is illegal in Canada and has been since 1987. No person shall commercially hunt these animals and the Marine Mammal Regulations prohibit to buy, sell, trade or barter of these pelts”

In my opinion, holding one industry hostage to promote a cause is an act of terrorism. PETA is trying to destroy the lives of Canadian Maple Syrup Producers to further Their unrelated idea and cause. It rates right up there with people who blow themselves up in crowded malls to further there causes. When you purposely hurt others, it is terrorism Websters definition is as follows:

The state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
A terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.
I hope that the public will actually open their eyes and ears, and start examining the motives and methods of this group. Please people I beg you to look at what this group is doing, and if some one said they wanted you to lose your income over something that has nothing to do with you. If PETA is an organization you support, send them a check , but think about what they are doing with your money.
